Getting to know yourself can be a difficult thing to grasp. You struggle to find the \’how to\’ on the \’self-awareness journey\’. The most important part is to remember that you have to be kind to yourself as you begin to sort out your own mind. There is no timeline for you to unpack your suitcase of thoughts/emotions- don\’t rush it. Any emotion that flows over you, take it in. Feel it. Try to understand where the thought/emotion originated.
Many people believe that they have a healthy sense of what self-awareness is in their life, but when a stressful situation arises- they fall short. Being aware means you have the opportunity to change your behavior and/or your beliefs. You will feel your mind becoming self aware; your own person thoughts and interpretations of situations will begin to change! These mental changes will also alter your emotions AND increase your emotional intelligence. This whole mindset change will help with the success of emotional awareness.
Overall, learning to become self-aware will increase your chances of having the life you really want. Become open to the idea of pin-pointing what your emotions and passion are in life, and how your own personality can help. I hope this week helped begin to bring your interest of becoming more in-tuned to who you are as a person and that it the most important piece of having the life you dream.
