When you go through hard times, it\’s more than likely going to change your expedition for personal growth. As a child, for example, growing up with an abusive parent(emotional, physical, etc) can completely change your viewpoint of a lot of things if you don\’t seek help. Death can absolutely tear you apart with grief. The smallest things in your daily life can build up, making a seemingly \’normal day\’- difficult.
When you stay in the tough place for too long: resentment, irritability, and \’bouts with depression can sneak up on you without you even noticing. The goal to many people, especially MEN, would be to not acknowledge the pain. Move on, hold in what you have struggled with throughout the years. Please, for YOUR sake(and those around you) unpack the pain, anger, and agitation. You could currently suffering from; maybe it is decades deep of pure heaviness(were you even aware of the impact?).
I encourage to reach out to me if you are having trouble moving forward from a situation that weighs down your personal growth. It can be as simple as acknowledging the past, accepting what happened, and you are done. Other times, the pain will get more intense within your quest to become a new person(and that\’s okay!)
